Beginning April, 2025, A1LabArts arranged to share a collaborative space for workshops, clubs, artist groups, small markets, open-mic nights, installations, and other "happenings" in the Bearden Hill neighborhood of Knoxville.
It was an experiment in having a semi-dedicated space. We had a variety of interesting events there over the summer with a fair number of people taking part, but it did not seem like something to continue. So we are back to not having our own space, but fortunately there are various venues where we can have events. Maybe at some point we will try again for a dedicated space -- email us if you happen to know of a possibility! Meanwhile, A1 member Emily Taylor, who along with Owen Weston has studio space there, is hosting events from time to time.
